Below are the rules and guildlines about packs, territories, and fighting for both which may seem confusing. I will try to be as thorough as I can. I am always adding new information or re-wrting things completly to make them sound easier to understand. Old Rules:When you come across an unclaimed territory post your claim in that territory. Role-play it, and make it a good post (at least eight lines long, that is one paragraph). Or I may just have to pad on over there and kick some lone wolf ass. I need a good post because those who claim their territories also become Main Pack Leader/Alpha of the new pack they would start there. If you do not wish to run a pack completly, then join an established pack or run around a Lone Wolf. If/when you claim a territory, you can PM me with info about your den (a board description). I will create a sub board, that will be the den of the pack. Dens can only be read by registered members.

- Lone wolves can claim their own territory.
That is how packs get created.
- Once you claim a territory, you cannot claim another.
But you can fight for an already claimed territory, thus gaining more than one territory.
- When you claim a territory, roleplay your claim. Don't worry, I will notice. Your post must be of intermediate level, worthy of alpha status.
This is because I do not want beginner roleplayers playing an intermediate/advanced roleplaying position.
- When you claim a territory, you are automatically the Alpha of your new pack. You have the right to place whoever you want of the opposite sex to be the other Alpha and to place other ranks of the pack to your liking.
When someone joins your pack, leaves or is exiled, or a pack rank changes, PM me so I know of this. I will need to change the wolf ranks accordingly.
- If/When you claim your territory send me a PM with description of your den. I will make a den sub-board for your pack. Den boards can only be read by registered members of the site. If you are confused about den boards and descriptions, an example can be found int he Deadwood Forest board.

Residential pack is something you a probably already familiar with. It is a pack that lives within an established territory. In roleplay terms, that means that they have their own board. Such as the Deadwood Pack.
Transient pack is a pack that has no established territory. These packs are usually packs that lost their territory through battle and did not wish to join the pack that won. Or these are packs that never had a territory, Lone Wolves that ban together can create their own packs. If a transient pack is formed, PM me so I know and can ajust ranks accordingly.
Both types of packs can adopt a nickname for themselves. For example Deadwood Pack's other name is Samhain pack.

Fighting for a territory is not always the same as fighting for a pack or fights within a pack. I will try to be as simple as possible here. Fights within a Pack- Fights usually start by trying to take over as Alpha or having your rank demoted or being exiled from the pack entirely.
- Fights usually result in bitterness between packs, or someone leaving the pack.
- Fell, Alpha and Leader of the Deadwood Pack cannot be challenged for her position. It will cause the upheaval of a plot being worked on.
Fights for a Pack- Although simular fighting for a pack and fighting for a territory is not the necessarly the same thing.
- A fight between a pack is usually used to settle scores or depen the scar of rivalry.
- The winning pack can take members of the losing pack hostage. (Interesting...)
Fights for a Territory- This should be self-explanitory.
- The winning pack gets to keep the territory they fought for.
- The losing pack moves on to either claim an unclaimed territory, become a transient pack, or become members of the winning pack if the winning pack allows it. (You may be rank at Omega if you join the winning pack and you will be betraying your previous pack if you leave.)
- Because current plot situations will be upheaved if Deadwood Forest gets taken over by another pack, fights for the Deadwood Territory is not allowed.
JudgmentWhen packs fight I am usually notified. The outcome of the fight is judge by none other than me. Oh joy. There are many factors that come into play when it is time to judge. Roleplay skill is just one of the many factors in determining who won. I will not say what all counts for ranking up points as this is a secret. But yes, certain things in posts rack up points and who has the most points when I'm done going through the battle wins.
